MathDoc Cell contribution to EULER

Mathdoc Cell provides the following ressources to EULER, via a Z39.50 server:

The Libraries "book" Catalogs (67334 records)

MathDoc Cell has 2 library partners, providing data for EULER:

Orsay and Strasbourg libraries are highly specialized in pure and applied mathematics.
The libraries use the french "texto" cataloguing software. A copy of the "texto" catalog is exported every now and then.
MathDoc Cell has written programs to convert the exported files into the "euler-DC" format.
In the long term, Z39.50 servers will be installed directly in Orsay and Strasbourg, to facilitate updating.

Serials catalogs (1555 records)

One of MathDoc Cell's national projects is to provide information on journals in all mathematical libraries. This is done via the
Catalogue Fusionné des Périodiques de Mathématiques.
16 french mathematical libaries contribute to this project.
At the moment, the Orsay and Strasbourg journal records have been extracted from the common catalog, and converted into "euler-DC" format.
In the long term, all records (about 4000) from this catalog can be put into euler.

Online preprints and theses (>1543 records)

Another project lead by MathDoc Cell is the french national grey literature index.
Metadata concerning online preprints and theses are harvested from 20 math department websites.
MathDoc Cell has written programs to convert the harvested metadata to the "euler-DC format".
